Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is comprised of three Executive Directors and two Non-Executive Directors.
Jack Kaye – Chairman & Chief Executive
With over 45 years’ business experience, Jack established one of the first mobile phone network resellers in the early eighties – which was eventually sold to Hutchison Whampoa and formed part of what is now the Orange mobile phone network in the UK. He is a serial entrepreneur and has a history of developing a number of successful businesses, many from a start-up position, and has held and currently holds Executive positions, including that of CEO, on the boards of a number of Companies in both Europe and North America.
Khalid Napaul FCCA – Finance Director
Originally from Mauritius, Khalid trained and qualified with a London based accounting firm which served clients in different sectors. He is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, and has over 15 years of hands on experience in supporting financial services across Europe, Africa and the US. After his admission to the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, Khalid served as Finance Director for a number of companies, including a US publishing company that publishes worldwide. Khalid runs his own accountancy practise based in Surrey and advises clients internationally. He sits on the board of a number of companies based around the world.
John Cook FICS – Executive Director & Company Secretary
John Cook, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries, has worked as founder or seed investor in SMEs all his life. John was involved with Commercial Laundries from the early sixties, and then worked on ventures in the efficient use of energy in the UK and abroad. He has worked in property investment and development, covering all aspects from residential to industrial and retail. John helped to pioneer the use of deer velvet as a homeopathic medicine and was the founding investor of Vet Cell, a research company engaged with the Royal Veterinary College to grow new tendons in horses. John’s career has spanned a camper van hire start-up in New Zealand, helping to pioneer the collection of stem cells from the umbilical cords of horses in Australia, assisting the New Zealand government on energy distribution working with the Central Electricity Generating Board to define a British Standard for heat pumps and research into energy collection and storage in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Nigel Oakes – Non Executive Director
Nigel Oakes has over 30 years’ experience in senior management with direct responsibility for business management, marketing and sales functions. In his role as Managing Director of a Creative Supply Solutions Limited he worked tirelessly on providing innovative sanitizing products to both UK and overseas markets. Throughout his career, sales has always been his passion. Nigel moved from an accountancy based career into sales, rapidly moving from field sales account manager through to the role of Group Sales Director responsible for an annual turnover in excess of £25 million pounds.
George Jackson – Non-Executive Director
After an initial career start in Marketing with Mars Ltd, George became Sales Director in 1971 of a London based photography processing business, progressing to MD until the business was sold in 1988. He then moved into Event Management and acted as a Consultant to companies looking to move into the restaurant, events and licensed premises markets, giving him extensive practical knowledge of company acquisition assessments. A serial entrepreneur, he has invested and developed a wide range of businesses from the ground up, including a specialist Photography chain and a number of Restaurants and Event venues. He has provided consultancy services to several start-up businesses and aided in the restructuring of others. With over 45 years of business experience, George brings a wealth of knowledge to the management team.
